YOUR LOOK IS COOL AND BRIGHT
Your colouring combines coolness with brightness. The stunning colours you have are cool with a clear blue undertone. From icy to bright colours, the high contrast in your palette ensures combinations for your outfits can be as contrasting as your natural appearance.
With your secondary palette as Clear, clothes and makeup that have clarity and a vibrancy to them will enhance your colouring.
Adding your tertiary palette of Deep, means your overall look is elevated with colours towards the darker end of the scale. These make wonderful additions to your wardrobe.
Personal style will also always influence how you wear your clothes and the colour combinations you prefer.

Helpful Hints
Colour Guidelines | Click on image/title for more info
Work it ...
- You look best in medium to deep colours.
- Though your natural colour contrast is high, it is not extreme. A neutral and an accent colour will always look striking.
- Pair lighter neutrals with a darker or brighter accent, such as Light Grey with Blue Green
- Or combine darker neutrals with lighter, brighter accent colours, such as Dark Navy and Duck Egg.
- For depth or colour contrast combine just accent colours:
- Cassis and Baby Pink (depth contrast)
- Light Aqua with Hot Pink (colour contrast)
- Lightest and darkest of a hue for depth contrast is striking:
- Icy Green with a Light Teal
- The classic colour combination of black and white is perfect on you.
- Great patterns for Cool & Clear are bold, highly contrasted, black and white, and brightly coloured – in keeping with the bright, saturated colours on the palette. Look for geometric patterns or round and rectangular shapes mixed together. Abstract prints are also great.

Don't do it ...
- Colours with a warm undertone
- Muted Colours
- A neutrals-only look
- Extreme contrast – pairing colours that sit opposite each other on the colour wheel, such as True Green and Blue-Red, can be overpowering.
- Patterns | avoid small prints as well as anything faded or blended (eg. watercolour prints). Natural floral patterns are best avoided. If you want to wear floral patterns, opt for highly stylised flowers.

Jewellery
Jewellery is best shiny, clear and sparkly. It works beautifully with your sharp, clear colouring and is a great way of adding contrasting colour.

Hair
Cool hair tones have a huge variety from pure white, to grey, to cool dark brown and ebony, also salt and pepper. There are no natural highlights, and the hair is either neutral or ashy. If you are ash blonde you will grey gracefully, but keep the tones of highlight ash or platinum based. For dark hair try plum and burgundy lowlights. Your hair may eventually become a grey, silver or pure white.
Glasses
Always choose a frame that is a colour, or metal from your palette. Contrasting colours will work well.

Makeup
Cool & Clear colours are cool, bright, and range from very light to very dark, repeating your natural highly contrasted and intense colouring. One important thing to remember for your makeup look is that both your eyes and your lips must have the same intensity. Don’t go for just a bold lip with minimum eye makeup. It will unbalance your face. Your makeup is at its best when it’s similarly contrasted, cool and crisp.
- Use similar tones to those in your palette with a cool undertone, warm ones one will drain you.
- Neutral eyeshadow colours are the whites and greys on the palette.
- For highlight and accent eyeshadow colours, opt for the purples, like Dusk, Heather or Lavender Bliss, or brighter Purple itself. Blues like Eau de nil or Midnight and greens like Peppermint or Blue Lagoon are clean, cool shades. Frosted finishes or cool metallics typically look best.
- Avoid matt eyeshadows, which may look dull on your bright appearance. A dash of highlighter over the top or a cream shimmer is perfect.
- A Marine, Teal, Granite or Amethyst eyeliner really brings out the colours in your eyes.
- Black mascara is perfect for you, or a striking Navy.
- Instead of golden bronzer (which will not enhance your colouring as you do not want its warm tones) opt for a lighter one with a pinkish undertone, and apply delicately. Alternatively swipe a little cool toned highlighter to your cheeks instead, it will add some wonderful shimmer.
- Your blush will be a cool pinkish or purple based colour, try Shiraz or Candy.
- Your best lipsticks are berry colours, red and purples. Even though these colours may at first glance seem bold, they will look very natural on you because they mimic the intensity of your appearance. Cerise, Soft Mauve, Purple Rain or Strawberry.
- A cool pink or purple lip colour (depending on the depth of your skin tone) will look very natural on you. You can use lipstick or lipgloss.
- Classic dramatic makeup is the pin-up look, with light eyeshadow, winged black liner and a red lip. Smoky eyes are also possible. You have all the right greys for it on your palette! Keep your lips similarly bright, nude lips are an absolute no-go.
