Neighbouring Hues
Known as Analogous colours, this is pairing colours that sit next to each other, up to 2-3 adjacent colours on the colour wheel. They work seamlessly together to ensure your outfit hues align perfectly. To allow for a bit of contrast in this arrangement – which you need – use a contrast of depth between the colours, for example, Lime with Turquoise.
The key to analogous colour combinations is to start off with your base colour. Choose one dominant colour and then bring in the neighbouring colours (one is often a supporting colour and another a used as a little accent) to give your look a sense of consistency without making it feel boring.
